St Josefs Winery – Summer Chef’s Series

No need to wait for hours in line at one of the NW’s most sought after dinner spots. The foodie-famous restaurant will be bringing its stellar Thai inspired street food to St Josef’s Winery on Sunday August 21st. The James Beard Award winning cuisine will be on the patio at one of Oregon’s pioneering wineries. Complete with crisp white wines and music on the patio.
The Sunday Summer Chef Series brings great food out to the European casual winery. Enjoy local foods & music themed together in the middle of the vineyards. Tasting room open from 12-5pm, Food from 1-4:30 and Music from 1-4. No Cover, Families welcome.
Planted in 1978 with the first legal vintage in 1983 St JOSEF’s is one of Oregon’s Wine Pioneers. Proudly family owned & operated- St JOSEF’s grows & makes food-friendly wines that can enhance any day without breaking the bank; as well as a line of reserve wines to enjoy on special occasions (like Tuesdays). The vineyards have been awarded both ‘Salmon-Safe’ and “LIVE Certified” designations for sustainability and are tended without the use of irrigation, harsh chemicals or pesticides.

Papaya Pok Pok Salad- Central Thai-style spicy green papaya salad with tomatoes, long beans, Thai chili, lime juice, tamarind, fish sauce, garlic, palm sugar, dried shrimp and peanuts, made to order in the pok pok (mortar and pestle).
Ike’s Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings -Pok Poks signature dish- Fresh whole natural chicken wings marinated in fish sauce and sugar, deep fried, tossed in caramelized Phu Quoc fish sauce and garlic.
Muu Paa Waan – Pork collar meat rubbed with garlic, coriander root and black pepper, glazed with soy and sugar, grilled over charcoal and served with chilled mustard greens and a spicy chili/lime/garlic sauce.
