Special Barrel Tasting with Tara

Special Barrel Tasting event with Tara of St Josef’s. Start with a little insight and aroma experience in the wein-stube before going to the cellar for an exclusive tasting of both new and older vintages right out of the barrel. Taste and smell the difference between new and neutral barrels and maybe even French and Oregon Oak. And enjoy learning the St Josef’s winemaking process and history from one of the family.
$30 per person Event includes – Aroma 101, special tasting and barrel samples complete with a St Josef’s special wine glass to take home. $10 of the applies towards bottle purchases. Multiple barrels to be sampled including Reserve Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Merlot.
Limited to just a few fun folks per tasting. Reservations required.

90 minutes or so per tasting experience. It’s chilly in the cellar so please dress warmly. Please no cologne or perfume for this day. It will impede everyone’s sense of smell in the barrel room. Club members receive 20% off.
