If you were up and about on Wednesday morning watching KGW Channel 8- you would have seen the St Josef’s Wine-A-Bago at Swan Island Dahlias in Canby. www.dahlias.com
Yes- our own celebrity Ruthie was interviewed by Drew Carey on August 21 talking about great wine and of course other fun things. Check it out on this link…
The Design the Wine-A-Bago contest is in full swing!
We’ve over hauled our classic 1970 Chinook RV so it can be serve wine local wines at events, weddings and festivals around the Portland, Oregon area.
The inside of the vehicle has been restored to glory with old growth slab counter tops and functionability- including a blue velour lazy-boy recliner. It has had a fun, funky look- with a big windows and boxy, rounded corners. It resembles a cross between the Partridge Family vehicle and an oversized vintage Fisher Price toy.
The outside of the ‘Wine-A-Bago’ is still a work in progress and you can help design it! After noodling over several ideas St JOSEF’s has decided to tap into the creative energy of the NW. St JOSEF’s is sponsoring a “Design the Wine-A-Bago” contest. The winning graphic idea will receive $500 cash, plus $500 worth of wine and a ‘Wine-A-Bago’ visit to your own party. Support local wines and the arts by submitting a design for the contest.
Enter with your idea drawn on our special sheet- which is available at St JOSEF events, the tasting room (www.stjosefswinery.com) and here

Great Music at St JOSEF’S this SUNDAY- It’s one of our favorites..RAE GORDON! And her band of fame….
Get your dancing shoes ready! You may have seen her on the main stage at the Portland Blues Festival, the Oregon State Fair- and now St JOSEF’S Winery!
Rae Gordon, who has been described in the media as ““Add equal parts of Janis Joplin’s pain, Aretha Franklin’s soul and Grace Slick’s power; mix them thoroughly, and add a big gob of gooey molasses and you have Rae Gordon’s voice” started her singing career in the piano bars of Los Angeles and opening up for comedians. Her early experience singing in the comedy clubs on the infamous Sunset Strip gave her an approach-ability and sense of humor that she brings to audiences today.
