Saturday, September 22nd and Sunday, September 23rd, St Josef’s Winery will be celebrating its 36th Annual Grapestomping Festival.
One of Oregon’s Wine Pioneers, St Josef’s originated the iconic Grapestomping harvest festival back in 1983 when there were less than 24 wineries in Oregon – now there are over 600!
The festival dates back to before the first micro-breweries were in Oregon and is the Northwest’s Original Grapestomping Event!
Along with Grapestomping contests held throughout the day, great German music from the fabulous Z Musikmakers and food including St Josef’s own special house recipe sausages & homemade kraut, along with other locally made foods. New vintages and special reserve wines will be available by the glass, plus tours with the winemaker and tastings available throughout the day.
Admission is $10 for those over 21, and includes souvenir wine glass. (Children under 18 are free if supervised, $500 otherwise). Special discounts for new releases and library reserve wines
