- When is the event?
Saturday, Sept 20th and Sunday September 21rd . Open Noon – 5pm. Rain or Shine
- Saturday & Sunday – The Gordonaires German Band plays the umpah music from 1:ish-4:30. Grape Stomping from 12:45-4:30.

Do you have bottles of wine to enjoy?
Yes- we have will have wines available by the glass and bottle, including our German Style Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Sparkling Riesling and Spate Burgunder!
Along with our other estate grown wines, plus beer, water and non-alcoholic beverages.
Is there food?
Yes- many options for you to enjoy!

> Wood Fired Pizza from Crust
> German Pretzels & Treats from B’s Bakery
> other snacks including local hazelnuts and chocolates
If you’re food persnickety you can have lunch before the event at several local places that serve our wines- including Filberts Farmhouse, Markum Inn & Cutsforth Thriftway.
Are you going to stomp the grapes?
Yes! we will be stomping both days. This year you can even make an advance reservation to stomp grapes- it is a reservation for two during one of our stomping contest windows. We will also be looking Grapestomping volunteers during the day. (stompers need to be 21+)
And we will have a picture area where you can get a good photo of your feet in the grapes.
Do we need to make a reservation to attend the event?
No- but we are limiting the number of tickets and advance tickets will save you a few $$ and guarantee your entry. You can also make an advance reservation to stomp grapes- it is a reservation for two during one of our stomping contest windows.
Will we be able to taste wines?
Yes, we will have a special area set up to taste some of our favorite wines. There is an additional tasting fee for the wine flight.
Are wines available for purchase to take home?
Yes- our gift shop will be open and there will be special discounts on wines to go.
Can we bring a food or picnic?
No outside food this weekend since this is a special event. You’re welcome to come back another time when we don’t have an event to enjoy a picnic at the pond. No outside beverages allowed at any time. We will have water stations to fill up your empty water bottles.
Are children welcome?
Yes- Please keep in mind it is a winery and festival. Children need to be attended at all times. No cover charge for minors.
What about dogs? We love dogs, but they NOT ALLOWED at the festival. Bring your pooch another time.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have FREE parking areas situated on both sides of our property. We do ask that you CARPOOL to the event so that you can have a designated driver and we can have ample parking for all. It is NOT a good weekend for a car rally event since the parking is limited.
Is there camper/trailer/RV parking?
Sorry, no.
What time do the gates open?
The winery is open from 12pm to 5pm. We aren’t open before 12pm. Gates will open @ 11:45. Last pour is 4:45 each day.
Can we pick grapes?
No. Please respect our farm. Most of our acreage has been certified organic and we can’t risk the introduction of other things into the vineyards.
What happens if it rains?
We have tents, and we will get wet- but the show will go on. We’re Oregonians after all.
What if we can’t attend after we’ve purchased advance tickets?
Come visit St Josef’s during our normal hours before Christmas and you will receive your souvenir wine glass and glass of wine.
