Frequently Asked Questions-
Why do I need a reservation for tasting?
Yes, please call a day before or send a note if you want to get served. Due to the new rules we have had to adjust our tasting room seating to tables 6 feet apart and you can’t pour at the bar. So we have limited space to do tastings and we don’t want to turn people away.
I’m a wine club member – do I still need a reservation?
Yes- with the limited seating and a great following of wine club members we are in a pinch for space.
Why is there a price on the reservation- isn’t it free for wine club?
Quarterly complimentary tastings for wine club members are included in the benefits. Guests are $10 each but two tasting fees are waived for a three bottle purchase.
What wines will be available for tasting?
Every week we will have a selection of new releases and winery favorites of both whites and reds to choose from.
Do I get to choose which wines?
With the new rules we have to serve the wine flights at one time, we are asking each group to choose out of our selection of open wines and share flights.
How many people in a group can come in to taste?
We the new seating rules and arrangements we can accommodate groups of up to 6.
Groups of 8 or more can reserve a private room to accommodate them at St Josef’s.
Contact us for our group package – info@stjosefswinery.com
What about outside seating?
We have arranged the outside patio and garden areas with tables 6 feet apart so we have room to spread out. We are currently allowing picnicking- so come visit! (Please don’t move the tables)
What is the food availability?
We will be serving bistro boards- a lovely assortment of meat, cheese and other items. Perfect for pairing with wines and friends.
What events are happening this summer?
We’re still in the learning stages of what we can & cannot do. Stay tuned.
