Hooray! We’ve been certified “Salmon-Safe” for the winery/vineyards again this year!
What does that mean? Due to our healthy, sustainable farming habits like no irrigation and not using harsh chemicals or fertilizers we’re keeping the land healthy and increasing the livability of the habitat. And now we’ve been elevated to LIVE certified – Low Impact Viticulture and Enology! We’re one of just a handful of vineyards (less than <2%) that have earned this certificate.
And we’ve made some new additions to the winery this year- 7 goats and 2 lamas are now trimming the blackberries around the pond!
It’s our simple way to trim back the blackberries and invasive vegetation and keep it looking good…
