St Josef’s of Canby, Oregon is one of Oregon’s original wine pioneers
With vineyards planted in 1978 and our first (legal) vintage in 1983, St Josef’s is one of Oregon’s Wine Pioneers. Our goal is to make food-friendly wines that can enhance any meal without breaking the bank, plus reserve wines to enjoy on special occasions (like Tuesdays).
Our philosophy is simple: grow and make outstanding wines and have a good time doing it!
We are proud to be a family owned and operated winery with 90% of our production coming from our vineyards, just 30 minutes south of Portland, Oregon. We maintain our five sustainable vineyards without the use of irrigation, harsh chemicals or pesticides. We just received ‘Salmon Safe’ certification for our progressive farming and are part of the 1% of vineyards in America to achieve this level of sustainability.
Maintaining our own vineyards combined with our hands-off wine making style helps us create wines that are distinct and brimming with flavor. Come on out to enjoy the wines, garden and wedding venue areas and our European hospitality. Join us for our seasonal wine-pairing dinners and events including Spring “Red Lips and Tulips”, Sunday Summer Music on the Pond and our Fall Grape Stomping Festival.
